Due to the goal to strengthen and develop our local product portfolio we are looking for candidates for R&D Category Manager position in Beauty Care business direction.
Reports to: Head of R&D
Responsibilities:
Executing product innovation and optimization pipeline for selected product categories
Leading improvement and saving projects for formulations, raw materials and technology
Initiation and steering of the substitution of the raw materials
Laboratory testing of product formulations
Participation in consumer testing of new formulations
Development of product specifications, technical requirements to products and raw materials
Managing product safety, performance and cost requirements
Pilot plant testing of new formulations and technologies
Participation in supplier audits and improvement actions
Participation in production and technology optimization processes
Requirements:
Higher education (chemistry, chemical technology)
At least 6 years in R&D (preferable in FMCG multinationals or big innovative local companies)
At least 3 years as R&D Manager
English (Intermediate and higher)
People management experience is a must
Deep knowledge of cosmetic products: features and technology
Good understanding of cosmetics market and trends
Experience of cosmetic products development within briefings
Proven track records launching innovative cosmetic products on the market
Knowledge of claims substantiation processes and approaches
Knowledge of local chemical market, experience with local ingredient suppliers
Strong analyst, good computer skills, good communicator
Strong leadership, judgment and influencing skills
Self-starter with proactive attitude
Attentive to details, multitasking, proactive, creative person
